Ofir Raul Graizer is a director, writer and editor who is based in Germany. He is a graduate of the Film School in Sapir College, Sderot, Israel. His short films were screened in numerous film festivals including Cannes, Clermont-Ferrand, and more. His first feature film The Cakemaker was theatrically released in 26 countries, received international acclaim and rated 98% in Rottentomateos. It was Israel's official entry to the Oscars. His second feature America premiered in the 56th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2022. It is sold by Beta Cinema and will be commercially released in USA, Canada, Australia, Spain, Israel and Czech Republic. Graizer was a guest speaker at the Columbia University, Wesleyan University, and the Atelier-Ludwigsburg-Paris in the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. He served as the development mentor of the Negev Film Fund, as a Jury for the NDR young talent Award at the Hamburg Film Festival, a Jury for the Europa in Film project of the German Film Academy, and in other institutions. Graizer published a book of short stories and recipes in German. He is currently working on several films, TV, and literary projects for the international market.
