Kanishka Sonthalia (b. 1990) is a documentary filmmaker and photographer. Her work focuses on social issues, the social construct, and the identity of sub-communities. She is a graduate of the Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism program at the International Center of Photography, New York. Her work has been published in Time Magazine, Bloomberg News, Al Jazeera, Financial Times, to name a few. Until I Fly is her first feature-length documentary film. She is the co-director and producer of the film. Siddesh Shetty (b. 1989) is a cinematographer and director. He holds a Master's Degree in Cinematography from FAMU, Prague, Czech Republic. His experience lies in direction and cinematography of fiction and non-fiction films. His short fiction film where he worked as a cinematographer, Benny, was selected for Cannes Court Métrage Short Film Corner, 2021, and was premiered at the Curtas de Vila do Conde International Film Festival, 2021. ‘Until I Fly’ is his first feature-length documentary film. He is the co-director and cinematographer of the film.
