TV-Documentary 47min Kitzbühel-The 50’s. The beginning of a new era. Six local heroes conquer the ski world. Having grown up together, they jump from one success to the next. The Kitzbühel Wunderteam is born! Under the applause of the war-torn public, Ernst Hinterseer, Fritz Huber, Hias Leitner, Anderl Molterer, Christian Pravda and Toni Sailer, also known as the “white magicians”, become heroes of the reconstruction generation. They help to put Austrian skiing, as well as its new epicenter, Kitzbühel, on the map. The country begun celebrating before the ink on the state treaty had even dried. By 1960, the Wunderteam would go on to win 27 medals at major events with those on the local Hahnenkamm track a given.



Sascha Köllnreitner
Director & Author. Born in 1984, Sascha began his career in film as a set welder, camera assistant, and editing assistant. He worked as a cameraman for documentaries and editor for numerous national and international commercials. Since 2009 he directs commercials and narrative formats in various genres. His first motion picture, the award winning documentary \"Attention – A Life In Extremes\" was presented at international film festivals, Netflix & European cinemas.
