Jesse Rudoy ist Filmemacher, Country-Musik-Fan und lebt in New York City. Zurzeit arbeitet er als Produzent und Redakteur an einer bevorstehenden HBO-Dokumentarserie. Er ist Mitbegründer von White Label Yerba Mate Soda, einer Getränkemarke, die in Nachtclubs in New York City angeboten wird. Seine Arbeit wurde von HBO, dem Gotham Film & Media Institute, Film Independent und dem Durban FilmMart unterstützt.
